Allow Admins to take an Exit response on behalf of a leaving Employee
In cases where an employee may have missed out on giving the exit survey before they left, their manager may still have had a discussion with them before they left, and therefore have an indirect record of their exit response.
Who can enter the response on behalf of the employee?
We allow the Admin, typically an HRBP, who has access to the admin reports of the exit survey, to enter the employee's response on their behalf.
This may be admins or people with permission to Manage Reports for that exit survey, either through permissions, survey collaborator, or folder access, who will be able to enter the response on behalf of the respondent.
How does this work?
If an employee has not responded to their exit survey, the admin can go to the Exit survey -> Employee Reports -> Open the report. Click on "Take response".
Once the admin starts taking the response, the actual respondent will no longer be able to respond to the survey sent out to them.
After submitting the response, the admin can still come back and edit the response. Every time the response is updated, the system will record the name and time of the last update.
Note: If an employee has already given their exit response, the admins will NOT have any option to edit the response.
