How to Archive a Goal Cycle

Archiving a goal cycle helps clean up your workspace while giving you the option to either preserve or break goal interlinking.

Steps to Archive a Goal Cycle

1. Go to the Goals module.
2. Navigate to the goal cycle you wish to archive.
3. Click the three dots next to the cycle name.
4. Select Archive.

You’ll now see a prompt with two options:

• Move goals to another cycle
  This keeps all existing links (like parent/supporting goals) intact by moving them to another active cycle.
• Archive goals with the cycle
  This will break all interlinking between goals. If you unarchive them later, you’ll need to manually re-link them.

Important Note

• Private goals will also be archived or moved during a goal cycle archive action.
• The creator of the private goal will receive a system email notification of the action taken.
• Since private goals cannot be viewed by admins, notifications ensure the owner is aware of the change.

Accessing Archived Goals

You can view all archived goals from the Archive section, located next to the + New Goal button. From here, you can unarchive any goal if needed.

• Only the creator of a goal can view the archived goals.
