Managers can create action plans for any feedback received by their direct reports. This is especially useful for:

  • Coaching on behavioural feedback (e.g., communication style, collaboration)
  • Supporting performance improvements
  • Guiding development in specific skill areas

💡 Pro Tip: Use action plans as part of your ongoing 1:1s — review progress, unblock challenges, and update goals as needed.Feedback recipients can also create their own action plans based on the feedback they receive. This promotes accountability and empowers individuals to take ownership of their development.

To create an action plan:

  1. Navigate to the Feedback module and find All Feedback.
  2. Open the feedback you want to take action on.
  3. Click the Action Plan icon.
  4. In the action plan drawer:

    • Add a clear objective or improvement goal (e.g., “Improve time management by blocking focused hours for key tasks each week”)
    • Assign the owner of the plan (yourself or a reportee)
    • Set a due date or timeline for completion

Click Save to link the plan to the feedback.Image

Once saved, the action plan will remain visible alongside the original feedback — making it easy to revisit, track progress, and discuss during check-ins or 1:1s.
