Feedback Configuration page in the Admin Console lets you control who can give and request feedback, and whether users can access the Note to Self feature. These settings help tailor the feedback experience to your organization's needs and is accessible only to the admins.
Who Can Give Feedback?
Under this section, you can choose which roles are allowed to initiate feedback within the platform.
- All Employees – Any employee can give feedback to their peers, direct reports, or managers.
- Managers – Only users with a manager role can give feedback.
- Department Heads – Limit feedback-giving rights to department-level leaders.
Best Practice: Keep all options enabled to promote a culture of open and continuous feedback across levels.
Who Can Request Feedback?
Here, you can control who is allowed to ask for feedback from others.
- All Employees – Any team member can request feedback for themselves or others.
- Managers – Managers can request feedback, often for their direct reports(members of team).
- Department Heads – Can request feedback for anyone within their department, and request it from anyone across the organization.
Tip: Enabling all roles encourages proactive feedback-seeking behavior and supports professional development.
Note to Self
Toggle this setting to allow or disable Note to Self, a feature that lets users privately jot down:
- Reflections on feedback they've received
- Thoughts about others they plan to give feedback to
- Personal growth notes
Note: Notes are completely private and visible only to the person writing them.
