Let's dive into why we have a processing fee in place. It's all about transparency and ensuring you know where your money goes and the value & service you receive out of it.
When you make a payment, we work with our trusted payment processor. Together, we efficiently handle transactions, but a processing fee is charged to handle payments from different currencies. This fee includes 5% of each transaction that you make.
So, let’s understand how the calculation works in detail with an example:
Formula:
The actual amount that needs to be paid = The amount for rewards (your desired amount) + 5% of that transaction
So, now say you want to add $1000 to your rewards wallet, you need to pay $1,050 for $1000 to be processed.
How was it calculated?
Transaction charges/card processing charges = 5%
The actual amount to be paid should be = 1000 + 5%
= $1,050
Therefore, you need to pay this amount to receive your desired sum.
Note: We have up to $2000 (our transaction limit), if you want over $2000 you can reach out to us to facilitate an ACH transfer. Please get in touch with your customer success manager.
So, when we apply a processing fee, it's solely to cover these costs and ensure your rewards process is seamless. It's all about making sure you receive the value and service you expect from us.
We're committed to keeping you informed and empowered throughout your journey with us. If you’ve any further questions about how this works or want to delve deeper into the value it brings you, we are happy to get in touch with you.
