This guide will help you configure Reporting Factors for your Pulse Surveys. By defining Reporting Factors, you can gain valuable insights from a group of questions within a survey and analyze responses across multiple surveys.
Access the Configuration:
Start by navigating to the Configure section: Surveys > Create > Configure > General
Locate Reporting Factors
In the configuration options, you'll find the Reporting Factors section. Here, you can define and customize your survey's reporting factors to extract meaningful insights.
Understand Reporting Factors.
- Reporting elements enable you to analyze responses to specific groupings of questions in your survey.
- By default, survey sections are configured as reporting factors, aggregating questions from the same sections together.
- However, if you want to go further and evaluate responses from multiple sections, you have the flexibility to create new custom reporting factors.
Editing Existing Reporting Factors
- Hover your cursor over an existing reporting factor to make changes. Click the edit icon to make your changes.
- Hit Save and Continue after you’re done.
- To alter the questions within the factor, click on the corresponding Questions text button.
- Click on the Edit button and, you can check or uncheck questions across all sections to customize your analysis. After making your selections, click Done to save your changes.
Creating Custom Reporting Factors
- To add a new custom reporting factor, click on the Add Factor button.
- Type in a name for the reporting factor in the text box and click Save and Continue.
- Note that if you want to use an existing reporting factor, search and select it from the drop-down, and continue.
- A pop-up will appear, allowing you to select the questions you want to include in this factor. Check the relevant questions across sections, then click Done to confirm your choices.
Toggling Reporting Factors On/Off
- Easily toggle reporting factors on or off to include or exclude them from your analysis.
- This flexibility lets you focus on the factors that matter most for your survey insights.
Deleting Reporting Factors
- If you don’t need a reporting factor, you can delete it by clicking on the delete icon associated with that factor.
- Confirm your decision by clicking on the Yes, Proceed button and the reporting factor will be removed from your configuration.
