This article is a guide on configuring Reporting Factors for your Engagement Surveys. This is a crucial step to gain valuable insights into engagement trends among your employees.
Access the Configuration:
To begin, navigate to the Configure section: Surveys > Create > Configure > General
Locate Reporting Factors:
Within the configuration options, you'll find the Reporting Factors section. This is where you can define and tailor your survey's reporting factors to extract meaningful insights.
Understand Reporting Factors:
- Reporting factors allow you to analyze responses from specific groups of questions within your survey.
- By default, survey sections are created as reporting factors, grouping questions from the same sections together.
- However, if you wish to delve deeper and analyze responses across multiple sections, you have the flexibility to create new custom reporting factors.
Editing Existing Reporting Factors
- To edit an existing reporting factor, hover over the factor you want to modify. You'll see the edit icon, click on it to make changes.
- Hit Save and Continue after you’re done.
- To alter the questions within the factor, click on the corresponding Questions text button.
- Click on the Edit button and, you can check or uncheck questions across all sections to customize your analysis. After making your selections, click Done to save your changes.
Creating Custom Reporting Factors
- To add a new custom reporting factor, click on the Add Factor button.
- Type in a name for the reporting factor in the text box and click Save and Continue.
- Note that if you want to use an existing reporting factor, search and select it from the drop-down and continue.
- A pop-up will appear, allowing you to select the questions you want to include in this factor. Check the relevant questions across sections, then click Done to confirm your choices.
Toggling Reporting Factors On/Off
You can easily toggle reporting factors on or off to include or exclude them from your analysis. This flexibility allows you to focus on the factors that matter most for your survey insights.
Deleting Reporting Factors
- If you don’t need a reporting factor, you can delete it by clicking on the delete icon associated with that factor.
- Confirm your decision by clicking on the Yes, Proceed button, and the reporting factor will be removed from your configuration.
