We’ll guide you through the process of Managing Cards on Kudos.
Accessing the Kudos Module
- Kickstart your creative journey by accessing the Kudos module. You can do this in two easy ways: click on the 'Kudos' option in the top header navigation bar or select the Kudos tiles available on the Overview page.
- Once inside the Kudos module, head to the side navigation bar, and you'll spot the Cards tab waiting for your creative touch.
Exploring Value Cards:
As you enter the Cards tab, you'll notice a list of Value Cards that have already been created. These cards align with specific Org Values and are automatically generated when a Kudos is granted that corresponds to the chosen Org Value.
Creating New Cards:
To create a new card, click on the New Card button. A dropdown menu will appear, offering you two options - Value Card and Custom Card. To learn more, click here.
The Default Card:
- Please note that the first card in the list is the default card. It serves as a catch-all card for Kudos messages that don't align with any specific Value or Custom cards.
- You cannot delete this default card, but you’ll be able to edit it.
Editing and Deleting Cards:
1) To edit a card, hover over it to reveal a three-dots menu icon. Click on it and choose the Edit option. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to make the following changes:
- Edit the Org Value associated with the card from the dropdown menu.
- Customize keywords that trigger the display of this card when mentioned in a Kudos message.
- Fine-tune the card's style by selecting a background color, uploading an image, and adjusting the brush stroke.
- Save your card by clicking the Save Card button.
2) To delete a card, follow the same steps but choose the Delete option. Please note that deleted cards cannot be recovered.
Editing Card Templates:
Additionally, you can edit the card template itself by clicking on the Edit template button.
In the pop-up that appears, you can customize:
- The content that appears on the card.
- Prefixes to express appreciation for your employees.
- Default images associated with the cards.
- Save your template changes by clicking Save Template.
