Giving Kudos on ThriveSparrow is a breeze, and we'll show you how to brighten someone's day in no time.
Admins, Switch to Employee View:
Before we dive in, if you're an admin, make sure you're in the employee view to give Kudos on ThriveSparrow.
Compose Your Kudos Message:
- Just type in the employee's name and the number of points you want to give, followed by a "+" plus sign. Like this:
+5 to @John for acing the presentation and closing the deal.
- Want to appreciate multiple people at once? Mention them in the same sentence and grant points equally, like this:
@John @Linda @Kim +6 Thanks for the great help in the last mile of deployment.
- When you need to distribute points to different folks, just mention them in separate paragraphs. Here's an example:
+4 to @John, @Linda, and @Kim for surpassing your sales targets this quarter! +2 to @Melissa and @Asha - your exceptional customer feedback speaks volumes about your dedication to providing top-notch service! +2 to @Melissa and @Asha for the timely reviews.
Give Kudos on ThriveSparrow Home:
- On the 'Home' page, you'll find a 'Grant Kudos' text box. Here, you can craft your Kudos message with style. You have options to insert emojis, upload images, make text bold, italic, and create bullet lists or numbered lists.
- Now, type in your Kudos message and hit the 'Grant' button. A Kudos value card will be created on the feed. This will also reflect on the Slack channel if integrated.
Give Kudos on Slack Channel:
- You can also give Kudos directly on Slack. Go to your designated Kudos channel on Slack, type in your Kudos message, and hit send.
- A Kudos value card will be created right in the Slack channel. This will also reflect on the ThriveSparrow Home feed.
